Tonight was a great evening. Many women from the stake joined with each other in service projects ranging from decorating chocolate bars to tying quilts for our men and women in the armed forces. The stake put together a delicious 'sack lunch' dinner for the sisters. Inside our little brown bags we found croissant, chicken salad, coleslaw, chips and a chocolate cookie.
The General Relief Society Broadcast first speaker was Relief Society President, Julie B. Beck, followed by Sister Silvia H. Allred, 1st Counselor and then 2nd Counselor Barbara Thompson. The concluding speaker was Prophet Thomas S. Monson.Please click here for excerpts from tonight's broadcast.
